In conventional belt cleaner, tips are installed perpendicular to the belt surface resulting in high friction between the belt and
the scraper. The tungsten carbide and polyurethane scrapers can dammage the belt and are best suited as secondary scarper. The conventional scraper takes longer time and large area to install. They are not recommended for high temprature
material transport.
With simple and lightweight structure, our ceramic scraper is easy to install on site. Its blade edge, which is one of the most important elements of a belt cleaner, is made of a high quality ceramic material. Due to its high resistance to abrasion, it can maintain cleaning power for a satisfactory period of time. The ceramic scraper can be in operation for more than one year or longer (the abrasion rate of the tip varies depending
on the transport object). Recomended for dry, abrasive and high temprature material transport, the service life of ceramic
scraper is approximately 12 months for sinter & iron ore and approximately 15 months for limestone & coal. The cleaning
efficiency of the scraper is superior due to the persistence of the power from abrasion of the chips. The service life of
ceramic scraper depends on oprating conditions.
