Alumina ceramic lining tiles for coal and other material handling and processing industries. Ceramic linings provide long-lasting solutions to the problems caused by abrasive wear and corrosion in a variety of hostile environments. Alumina ceramic linings will outlast lower grade materials commonly used to line or protect processing and material handling equipment, including Basalt, stainless steel, carbon steel and wear resistant plates, by factors of 3 to 15 times.
QM X's wear resistant ceramic tiles can be cut into any shape and are easy to install and maintain. They are suitable for both wet and dry processing applications. Advanced ceramics combine high strength and toughness with extreme hardness to deliver exceptional wear resistance.

Industrial ceramic linings are a great option for guarding against abrasion, erosion or corrosion. However, ceramic linings are only effective when they are selected and installed properly. As the leader of abrasion resistant solutions, QMX will develop a ceramic lining that weighs less, but can last up to ten times longer than common alternatives like chromium carbide or AR plate.
Monolithic shapes and custom engineered integrated tile systems can be provided for pieces with irregular geometries (such as elbows, tees and lateral wyes) where standard tiles are not cost-effective. Engineered solutions like these ensure an exact fit and 100% ceramic protection.
